History Repeats Itself — Study the Past to Understand Market Behaviour.
Learn to read charts with greater clarity and identify important price-action patterns across the Stock Market, Forex, Options, Intraday and Swing Trading. This course provides historical charts for systematic study, practice and backtesting, helping you understand how different market patterns develop and how trading opportunities can be evaluated.
Explore CPR Breakout, Brahmastra Strategy historical Case studies, Open Drive setup, WDP sequence charts, Stop Loss Hit Case studies, Weekly CPR, Daily CPR and other price-action setups using real historical market charts.
You can download available charts for offline study and analysis.
Market history does not repeat itself exactly, but similar price and Emotional behaviours can emerge under comparable market conditions. Understanding these recurring behaviours can help traders study the market more systematically.
1. Human Psychology
Fear, greed, hope and uncertainty influence buying and selling decisions. Similar emotional responses can create recurring price-action patterns across different market conditions.
2. Market Participant Behaviour
Retail traders, institutional participants and other market participants often respond to important support and resistance levels, breakouts, momentum and market structure. Their combined actions can produce recognisable chart formations.
3. Algorithmic Trading / AI Trading Patterns
Automated trading systems execute orders according to predefined rules. Similar strategies and responses to market conditions may contribute to recurring price behaviours.
Important: No chart pattern works all the time. The objective is to study historical behaviour, test trading rules and understand the conditions under which a pattern may or may not work.
This course focuses on historical chart analysis and practical backtesting to help you develop a structured approach to intraday and swing trading.
Understand the fundamentals of intraday trading, short-term price movements, trading opportunities and the risks involved in day trading.
Learn to interpret candlestick charts, market structure, trends, support and resistance levels, trendlines and other essential charting elements.
Study Daily CPR and Weekly CPR, including how CPR levels can help you analyse market context, potential support and resistance, and breakout opportunities.
Study historical examples of patterns and setups, including:
CPR Breakout Pattern
Open Drive
Price Action Breakouts
Support and Resistance Breakdowns
Trend Continuation and Reversal Setups
Narrow CPR and other CPR-based market structures
GAP Trading Strategies,
Elephant Candle Breakout or Breakdown,

Learn to examine the context surrounding a pattern instead of relying on its appearance alone.
Study the use of the 20 EMA and 200 EMA alongside CPR levels and price action to understand trend direction, momentum and potential trade setups.
Practise analysing historical charts on TradingView. Record observations, define entry and exit rules, and evaluate how a setup behaves across different market conditions.
Understand the role of stop-losses, profit targets, position sizing and risk-to-reward ratios when evaluating trading strategies.
Study historical charts from different market situations to understand how patterns develop, where potential entries may appear, how setups can fail and where exits could be evaluated.
The course includes historical chart examples focused primarily on the 2-minute and 5-minute timeframes, which are commonly used for studying intraday price action and short-term options trading.
These timeframes can help you examine entry triggers, breakout confirmation, momentum and exit opportunities in greater detail. However, shorter timeframes can also generate more market noise and false signals.

Understand the role of Daily and Weekly CPR.
Evaluate potential entry, stop-loss and exit levels.
Identify false breakouts and failed setups.
Compare a strategy's performance across historical examples.
Develop a more structured and disciplined approach to trading.
Remember: The goal is not to predict every market move. It is to study historical evidence, test your assumptions and make more informed decisions.
Smart Study Tip ЁЯТб
Some of our students have downloaded the historical charts, printed them, and displayed them in front of their trading desks for quick reference. This helps them recognise recurring chart patterns more easily, revise setups regularly, and strengthen their pattern-recognition skills through continuous observation and backtesting.
A chart becomes more valuable when you study the context behind the price movement. Use historical examples to build your observation skills, test your trading ideas and understand the strengths and limitations of different setups.
